The 2025-2026 School of Choice application will be posted April 1st. This application is NOT first come first serve; applications are collected by the RESIDENT district until May 30, 2025. Completed applications should be directed to the students' RESIDENT district. The MCISD does not collect School of Choice applications.
Due to inclement weather, all MCISD student programs will be closed Thursday, February 13, 2025. This includes the Monroe County Educational Center, Monroe County Transition Center, Youth Center, Monroe County Middle College, and the Monroe County ISD Administration Building. Stay safe.
The Monroe County Great Start Collaborative released it's 2025 Community Resource Guide. The purpose of Great Start is to assure a coordinated system of community resources and supports to assist all Michigan families in providing a great start for their children from birth through age eight. This booklet puts all resources in one place.
The – Got Sneakers – fundraiser runs through March 15th. It's simple and easy to help with! Bring any used sneakers to the collection bin at the MCISD PD Center Lobby. Sneakers are collected through March 15th.
