Criminal Background Checks/Fingerprinting

Criminal Background Checks

A background investigation and a criminal history records check is performed on every selected applicant for employment in any position. The MCISD provides background checks for public, non-public and chartered public schools prior to a final offer of employment.

Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting is by appointment ONLY (no walk-ins).  YOU MUST CALL 734-322-2642 FOR A FINGERPRINTING APPOINTMENT.

Monroe County ISD does not fingerprint for the general public, 3rd party contractors or EDUstaff.

Please download, complete, and bring the appropriate form below when being fingerprinted by the Monroe County ISD for a criminal background check. You will also need to bring your driver's license or state ID card and a money order payable to "Monroe County ISD".
