South Parking Lot Construction

Please be advised that the main entrance to the MCISD south parking lot will be closed beginning Monday, October 13 through Sunday, October 19.

This closure is necessary to complete concrete work, which is anticipated to take approximately seven days. During this time, please plan to use alternate entrances and allow extra time for parking and building access.

Ofﬁcers Named for M.C.I.S.D. Board of Education

Ofﬁcers for the Monroe County Intermediate School District Board of Education have been elected for the 2025-2026 school year. Dale DeSloover of Monroe will continue in the president position and Renee Larzelere of Summerfield will serve as vice-president. Paul Miller of Carleton will serve as secretary of the board and Russell Bless of Monroe as treasurer. Dr. Barry Martin of Temperance will serve as the board's trustee. M.C.I.S.D. Board members are elected by a panel comprised of representatives from the nine constituent local public school districts.

Monroe County School of Choice Application SY 2025-2026

The 2025-2026 School of Choice application will be posted April 1st. This application is NOT first come first serve; applications are collected by the RESIDENT district until May 30, 2025. Completed applications should be directed to the students' RESIDENT district. The MCISD does not collect School of Choice applications.
