Welcome back to school! As we prepare for the first day of school on September 8, we look forward to welcoming our students and families back for another great year. The Monroe County School of Choice application window is now open until June 19, 2026. Once completed, applications must be submitted to the students' RESIDENT district Superintendent's Office.
A Special Board Meeting of the MCISD Board of Education will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026 @ 4:00 PM. Closed session to review privileged communication under Section 8 (h) of the Open Meetings Act.
Due to inclement weather, all MCISD programs are cancelled tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026. This includes all Educational Center and Transition Center classrooms, early childhood programs, the Monroe County Middle College and the MCISD Administration Building.
